Billy Wayne Barnett, 73, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at his home.
He was born April 3, 1938, to Marvin and Gertha Sanders Barnett.
He was a Faithful Christian and Member of Mayfield House of God. He loved spending time with his Family and Friends. He was employed at Super Sagless for 27 years. He enjoyed Fox Hunting, Bird Hunting, Fishing and going to Auctions with his Lifelong Friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Merle Floyd, Bro. Johnny Hamblin and Bro. David Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Campbelltown Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home in Baldwyn is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his Wife of 50 years, Ruby Barnett of Saltillo; one Son, Kenneth Wayne Barnett of Tupelo; one Daughter, Mary Barnett of Guntown; two Grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Barnett and Raven Barnett, both of Tupelo; three Brothers, Ray Barnett of Saltillo; Durell Barnett and Wife, Pam, of Nettleton; and Roy Barnett and Wife, Brenda, of Tupelo; four sisters, Reba Floyd and Husband, Merle, of Guntown; Edith Patterson of Guntown; Dalphie Smith and June Butler Coloma, both of MI; and two Special Friends, Guy Dunaway and Danny Dunaway.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; one Sister, Elsie Stanford of Saltillo; four Brothers, Gene Barnett, Bobby Barnett, Hoyle Barnett and Troy Lee Barnett, all of Saltillo; a Sister In Law, Frances Barnett of Saltillo; and a Brother In Law, John Patterson of Guntown.
Pallbearers will be Michael Patterson, Sammy Barnett, Randy Barnett, Josh Dunaway, Tracy Barnett and Danny Dunaway.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Barnett, Mike Barnett, Eugene Patterson, Gary Barnett, Eric Barnett and Dean Barnett.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Funeral Home.
