The funeral of F. Leonard Hays, 57, retired farmer and life-long resident of the Barnesville (Md.) community, who died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday, will take place at 11 o'clock today at the funeral home of William B. Hilton, Barnesville. Burial will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Md.
Mr. Hays, who was unmarried, is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ida Hempstone Hays; a sister, Mrs. Reginald Darby, Forest Glen, Md., and two brothers, Lawrence Hays, Detroit, Mich., and Frederick Hays, Cleveland, Ohio. He was a son of the late Frederick P. Hays.
