Mrs. Delia A. Rich died at her home on South Street Friday night at the age of 85 years. She had been ill since last December and had had two shocks, but the cause of her death was Bright's disease. She was born in Monkton October 25, 1824, and early in life became a member of the Methodist church and was devout attendant through all her years. She was twice married, the first time to Chauncey Moore in 1844, whose death occurred in 1870, and the second time to Gasca Rich, in 1876, who died about 15 years ago, she is survived by three children by her first husband, William C. Moore, Otto P. Moore and Milo K. Moore. The funeral was held from her late home on South Street Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. Dr. Corkran of the Methodist church officiated. The remains were taken to Bristol and the interment took place in Greenwood Cemetery beside her former husband. The bearers were George Chaffee, Arthur Hinman, Homer Bain and Ernest Severance.
