Mr. Bishop was a native of Sherwood and a brother of Clifford E. Bishop of this village.The remains of the deceased arrived from the Cremation View Abby in Everett. Rev. Clifford L. Pierson, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Appleton, officiated at the burial service.
.As a hobby and a service to his country, Mr. Bishop, during the holiday season distributed and sold thousands of Christmas seals.
Survivors are his wife, Alvina, two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Byers of Rochester, N.Y., and Dr. Vivian Kenyon of Portland, Ore.; a son, David Bishop of Everett; five grandchildren and three sisters, Alice E. Bishop, Mrs. Myron Chapin and Mrs. Herman Hensel of Oshkosh, and a brother, Clifford E. Bishop, of here.
