Sally Ann was the daughter of Darius Finch and Anna Walker; the wife of Albert F. Aldrich of Armada, Macomb County, Michigan, and the mother of three children. By December 1865, Sally Ann had lost her husband and all three of her children. She married a widower, Amasa "Amsey" W. Sutton, May 28, 1869, but the marriage did not last and ended in divorce. Sally Ann lived as a widow for the rest of her life in the household of relatives. She died from injuries caused by a fall that broke her hip.
