Hazel Bruce Pitts, 82, of Bowling Green died Monday, Sept. 23, 2002, at Bowling Green Health Care Center. Born in Caroline, she was the widow of Wilton James Pitts. Survivors include a daughter, Aline Mills of Corbin; a son, James Pitts of Bowling Green; a brother, Irving Bruce of Woodford; three sisters, Margaret Levy, Thelma Perdue and Julia Cousins, all of Richmond; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Thursday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with the Rev. Duane Pemberton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
