Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. J.E. Golden and Rev. George Wannamaker officiating. Private burial will follow.
Miss Abercrombie was born in Union County, Georgia, but lived most of her life in Marietta. She was a member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church in Marietta. Miss Abercrombie retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company after 35 years of service and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Survivors include her sister, Mrs. John (Abby) Matthews of Marietta, four nieces and four nephews.
