Gladys M. Bieber, 90, of Meridian Arms Living Center, formerly of West South Range Road in North Lima, passed away at 4:38 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth health Center from infirmities of age.She was born Aug. 29, 1911 in Alliance, a daughter of Charles C. and Leola Wagner King Mentzer.Mrs. Bieber was a housewife and a member of the Paradise Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and belonged to the Lutheran Christian Woman. She was a member of the Beaver Township Homemakers and the Salvation Army Auxiliary of Youngstown.Her husband, Charles R. Bieber, whom she married Oct. 27, 1928, passed away Dec. 18, 1975.Mrs. Bieber is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Carr of Meridian, Idaho, and Joan Theis of Austintown; a sister, Wilda Toth of Petersburg; five grandchidlren; four great-grandchildren.Besides her husband, she was preceeded in death by a sister, Mildred Mentzer; and a borther Glenn L. King, who passed away during WWII while serving in the Army.Friends may call on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima and Monday from 11 a.m. to noon at Paradise Lutheran Church on Western Reserve Road.There will be services at noon Monday at the church, with Pastor Alex Hiliard officiating.Burial will be at Paradize Lutheran Cemetery
