He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Dorothy Soileau Etier and his daughter, Leslie Ann Etier; and his parents, William and Emma Etier.
He was survived by one son, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, and two brothers.
A native of Hebert, LA, and a longtime resident of Lafayette, Frank was Secretary-Treasurer and comptroller for Horace B. Rickey, Inc. for over 30 years and also worked with his son in public accounting for over 20 years.
Mr. Etier served his country in the U.S. Navy in World War II and was a very proud American. Frank had a wide range of accomplishments but is most remembered by his family for his work ethic, his encouragement to become the best at your chosen profession, the love for his camp in Lake Arthur, and his love for his children and grand-children. "Paw Paw" was known for his "easy-going" personality and he has passed this wonderful trait to his son and grandchildren.
