HAROLD F. G. GROENLUND, formerly of Houston, died Nov. 1, 2002 at the age of 91, in Concord, Massachusetts. Loving husband of the late Doris R. Groenlund and much beloved father of Norma Brezee of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and Sharon G. Carlisle of Maynard, Massachusetts. A member of Grace Presbyterian Church (Second Presbyterian) since 1925, Harold was an original member of the Grace Church Westminster Bowling League established in 1941, and bowled regularly with the league from 1969 to 1998. Harold retired from Shell Oil Company in 1969 after 36 years, and served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He will also be greatly missed by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Oaks Mausoleum, 13001 Katy Road, Houston. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 10221 Ella Lee, Houston, TX 77042.
