According to the information provided from the book, The History of the 126th Infantry, in the War with Germany, by Emil Gansser. Under the direction of the 126th Infantry Association, A.E.F., 1920, Grand Rapids, MI. Page 309. Corporal Cecil Early Edwards, 126th Infantry, 32nd Division ("Les Terribles", only Division to receive French moniker for action in war) was attached to Company H. He saw action in the following battles: Alsace, Chateau-Thierry (Alsace-Marne Offensive), Souissons Sector (Oise-Aisne Offensive), Meuse-Argonne Offensive, and was a part of the Army of Occupation in Germany. He was wounded on August 3, 1918. He had been gassed (mustard) by the Germans during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive.
