LANCE, Betty Faye - McMinnville resident and Cannon County, TN native Betty Faye Lance, age 56, was born June 13, 1954 and died May 3, 2011 River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Louise Sweeton Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jeremy Thompson and brother, Danny Smith. She was married to Brent Lance of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Michelle Taylor Sisk of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Brayton Taylor, Leeanna Watson and Bailey McKinley and mother-in-law, Betty Drake of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 in High's Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County, TN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Friday at High's.
