Dies; Rites Are Monday
MAYFIELD, Ky., Dec. 4 -- Funeral services for Seth Thomas Boaz Sr., 80, a, prominent Graves County attorney, who died at 10 p.m. Friday at Mayfield Hospital will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Byrn Funeral Home.
The Rev. Loren Broadus and the Rev. Houston Suthard will officiate.
Mr. Boaz resided at 1002 W. Broadway here. Before his retirement several years ago he had served eight years as county attorney, four years as city judge and six years as city prosecutor. He was born at Boaz.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Osa Boaz; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Stubblefield, Murray, and Mrs. Wayne Andrus, Paducah: five sons, Seth Boaz Jr., Harry H. Boaz and Malcom R. Boaz, all of Mayfield, Samuel S. Boaz, Paducah, and William M. Boaz, Houston, Tex. 15 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren:
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
Members of the Graves County Bar Association will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
