Alice Watson, Mountain View Resident, Dies
MOUNTAIN VIEW—Mrs. Alice E. Watson, 60, Mountain View, died Thursday in an Ogden hospital.
Born July 18, 1904, at Robertson, the daughter of Culbert and Susan Davis Meeks, she was married to James D. Watson Jan. 22, 1924, in Green River. He died in 1961.
Survivors include three sons, Patrick Watson, Lyman; James Watson, Kemmerer, and Joseph Watson, Evanston; her mother, Mountain View; two brothers, Joseph Meeks, Mountain View and Irven, Kemmerer; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Sims and Mrs. Isabel Stevens, both of Evanston, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Mountain View LDS Chapel, Bishop Myron Stringer officiating. Interment will be in the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Mountain View LDS Chapel Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.
