ALMA GRACE DEAN

MOUNTAIN VIEW—Funeral services for Alma Grace Dean were Tuesday, June 14 at the St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Fort Bridger.

Interment was in the Fort Bridger Cemetery.

Mrs. Dean, 69, of Mountain View, died at her residence June 10.

She was born June 6, 1919, in Windriver, Wyo., to Lewis Edward and Leona Grace Ward Meeks.

On June 6, 1940, she married Gene Latimer. They later divorced. She later married Carl Dean, Sept. 15, 1955, in Evanston. He died May 21, 1987.

She was a member of the Episcopal Church. She also belonged to the VFW ladies auxiliary in Evanston.

She is survived by two sons, Edward Lee Latimer, Indianapolis, Ind., and Randy Dean, Evanston; two daughters, Mrs. Keith (Beverly) Graham and Mrs. Edward (Barbara) Kenney, both of Mountain View; four brothers, Marion Meeks, Lewis Meeks, Joe Lahoe, all of Fort Washakie and Whitley Lahoe, Portland, Ore.

Other survivors include five sisters, Alvena Tarness and Dolly Apland, both of Fort Washakie, Melba Johnson, Long Beach, Calif., Vera Lucky, Kansas City, Kan., and Elizabeth Bourdeaux, Neb.

Also 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive.

Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by three sisters, Rose, Dollie and Hallie; and three brothers, Charlie, Henry and William.
