C. E. TAYLOR, FARM LEADER, DIES MONDAY
C. E. Taylor, a county farm organization leader, died Monday at his home.
Mr. Taylor had served a number of farm groups, including terms as a director of the Lucas County Co-op Creamery, the Lucas County Farm Bureau, the Ottumwa Production Credit Association and had once operated a grocery store in Chariton.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Miley Chapel in Chariton. The Rev. William Osick will officiate. Interment will be at the Chariton cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, Bertha, one son, Howard of Chariton, and one grandson, Greg.
