DYER, NORMA LEE (VINEYARD)
age 81, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully to her eternal home on February 10, 2008 with her family by her side. Norma was a long time member of Atkins Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband, Ondus Lee Dyer, Sr.; son, Steven Danny Dyer; mother and father, George and Rose Vineyard; brothers, Raymond, Luther, and Buford; sisters, Lillian, Loreen, Hazel, Rosa Lee, and Evelyn; great-grandchildren, Stella and Isaac. She is survived by: son, Ondus Lee Dyer, Jr.; daughter, Vickey Vann; daughter-in-law, Kathy Dyer-Jones; grandsons, Scott Wilson, Steven Dyer, Mark and Courtney Dyer, Chad and Jessica Dyer, Matthew Dyer, and Jeremy Dyer; granddaughters, Melissa and Phil Luttrell; great grandchildren, Kevin Wilson, Lily Dyer, Daniel Dyer, Christian Luttrell, Carson Dyer, Mackenzie Dyer, and Violet Dyer; brother, Jim Vineyard; sister Wilma Debord. Special thanks to the staff of Hillcrest South for the loving, compassionate, professional care shown to our mother while she resided there. Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel at Cooke Mortuary. Reverend Larry Cash officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Cooke Mortuary to go to Haun Cemetery in Tater Valley for 11:00 a.m. interment. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Music by Karyn Sloas and Dion Treece. Cooke Mortuary, Maynardville, TN.
