Bertha Augusta (King) Perry, age 84 , of Hazen, was carried by angels to heaven on March 18, 2012. She is rejoicing now with her precious Savior and loving husband, Robert Perry. Gussie was a devoted woman of God and a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church where her beautiful singing voice still lingers in the minds of those who loved her. She never complained but always thought of others before herself. Her beauty was inside and out as she radiated love and smiles to all. She and dad will always be with us in our precious memories. In Heaven now, they are singing in perfect harmony. Preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Robert S. Perry, grand-daughter Renee Red, grandson Michael Perry, dad and mom: John and Mertie King, brothers: Ernie, Avery, and Edward King, sisters: Vina Weatherley, Robbie Hill, Wilma Shelman. She is survived by 6 children, Robert D. Perry and wife, Cheryl of Norfork, AR, Ralph Perry and wife, Linda, Gary Perry , Earlene Tenison and husband, Dan, all of Hazen; Betty Hula and husband, Lynn of North Little Rock, and Donna Perry of Lonoke. She had 18 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Tuesday at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Walters Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Camp and Rev. Greg Tenison officiating. Pallbearers are Chris Perry, John Perry, Phillip Perry, Richard Ingle, Mark Ingle, Rev. Greg Tenison, Craig Dardenne. Honorary Pallbearers are Woody Tipton, Leonard Lott, Wayne Colclasure, Alvin Reaves, Jimmy White.
