James Monroe Ferguson, 67 died at his home in the Telephone community at 4 a.m. today following an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 2. 1878 at Telephone and had engaged in farming and stock raising for half a century but was forced to retire several years ago due to ill health.
Funeral services have been a announced for 3 p.m. Thursday at the Telephone Methodist Church and the Rev. Oliver Rowe officiating. Burial at Forest Grove cemetery.
