He was born at Beech, the son of the late Cecil and Nettie Bowers Hall.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1956-1958. He retired from Monongahela Power Co. with 31 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Bessie Mae Murphy Hall; two daughters, Reta and Anita; one brother, Donald Richard Hall; eight grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Whytsell, and one brother, Darrell Hall.
Services will be held Friday, 1 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Terry Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Bailey Cemetery, Beech, with military graveside rites. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
