Born May 30, 1909 in Adams County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Stem Martin. She was predeceased by her husband Guy W. Seiferd, in 1981.
She was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ and worked for Knouse Foods for 30 years, until her retirement.
She is survived by one daughter, Essie Gilmore of Fairfield; one son, H. Kenneth Seiferd of Blue Ridge Summit; one brother, Robert Martin of Fairfield; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Monahan Funeral Home, Fairfield, with Rev. Eugene M. Cline officiating. Interment will be in Fairfield Union Cemetery.
