Connie B. Mullen, age 66 years, a resident of Skunk Hill Rd. in the Town of Georgia died unexpectedly, Thursday afternoon April 28, 2011, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington.

Born in Richford on September 12, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hildreth (Miner) Baker.

She graduated from Richford High School and the Albany Business College.

For 18 years Connie had been employed as a secretary for the Franklin Central Supervisory Union. In earlier years she had also worked as a secretary for the University of Vermont. In 1965 she was married to Alan Mullen who survives her. Connie was a very kind and loving person, who enjoyed camping with her family and friends. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, they meant the world to her. She would always open her heart and her home to anyone who needed it and will be remembered for her laugh and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband Alan of 46 years, Connie leaves two children, Linda Lapierre and her husband Thomas of Chazy, NY and Steve Mullen of Georgia; four grandchildren, Devyn and Maya Mullen and Conner and Carly LaPierre. She is also survived by a brother Charles Baker and his wife Hallie of Nashua, NH as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. from the Georgia United Methodist Church, 50 Carpenter Hill Road, Georgia. The Rev. Dr. Henry James will officiate. Interment will follow at the Mullen family lot in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Franklin. There will be no public calling hours; however the family will receive friends following the committal service at The Abbey Restaurant, 6212 Vermont Route 105 in Sheldon.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave. Swanton 05488.
