Mrs Bagley was born Harriet Eastman July 20th, 1842. With her husband, she came to Marshall county in 1868 and settled on a farm near Melbourne. In 1890 they moved to State Center where they built a home. Mr Bagley died in 1904. Following his death, Mrs Bagley moved to Minnesota to live with relatives. Later she went to California to make her home with a son, S W Bagley at Pacific Grove.
Besides the son in California, she is survived by another son, J H Bagley of Marshalltown and a step daughter, Mrs Mary B Stouffer of Lawrence, Kansas.
Interment was in Hillside cemetery.
