Minnie Lione Laird-Brunger was the daughter of Joseph Carlton Laird and Sara Ann Childs of LaFayette, IL. Minnie married to George Egbert ("G.E.") Brunger and had three children who grew to maturity: Vivian Adolene Brunger-Mahler, Carlton Orin ("COB") Brunger, and Florence Inez Brunger-Perry. George and Minnie divorced in the 1930s, and Minnie later moved to California in the 1940's to be with her grown children who all settled in the San Francisco Bay Area. After her death in California, Minnie was cremated and her ashes were interred in her hometown of LaFayette, presumably near her parents.
