He was born April 10, 1926 to Raymond and Gertrude(Reingruber) Bischoffer at Chicago, IL. He attended Lane Technical School at Chicago. Following high school he served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. On July 1, 1950, he was united in marriage to Virginia Biermann at Des Plaines, IL. He worked in the plastering trade for 56 years. He was instrumental in the plaster renovation of the interior of the Chicago Theatre and he casted the plaster mold for the bronze sculpture that stands in front of the State of Illinois Building at Rockford,IL.
Survivors include his wife Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 7, at Meadows Funeral Home, Rolling Meadows, IL.
