STELLA ELLSWORTH
SERVICES MONDAY

Miss Stella Ellsworth, 82 of Modena died Friday at a Trenton nursing home. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Modena Christian Church. The Rev. Harry Clifton officiated. Burial was in Brummett Cemetery near Modena.

Miss Ellsworth was a daughter of Jacob and Susan Vanderpool Ellsworth. She was born in Mercer County May 16, 1882 near Modena.

She is survived by a foster daughter, Mrs. Mildred Hamilton, of Princeton; one brother, Joseph Ellsworth of Mount Moriah; one sister. Mrs. Bessie Keuhn of Thief River Falls, Minn.; a number of nieces and nephews including Dr. Willard Ellsworth of Cainsville.

Notes: A birth date of May 16 was questioned. It is correct according to obit and the old Ellsworth Bible.

Stella and her sister Hester Ellsworth McQuerry made the wedding dress for their niece Carrie May Ellsworth McQuerry. Hester and her husband William Beda McQuerry raised Carrie after the death of her mother about age three months.
