71, of St. Charles, died Sunday (Sept. 28, 2003) at his residence.
Mr. Blazek was a retired mechanical engineer for McDonnell Douglas Corp., now Boeing Co., where he had worked for 23 years.
He was a Scout master for the Coverdell Troop and a member of St. Charles Presbyterian Church.
He also had served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1955.
Among the survivors are his wife, Bea Blazek of St. Charles; two sons, John W. Blazek of St. Charles and Tom Blazek of Germany; a daughter, Jane Ann Gilman of Corvallis, Ore.; a brother, Don Blazek of Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Joyce Pietramale of Omaha, Neb.; and six grandchildren.
