Obituary:
Dale L. Harbison, 97, died Friday, April 29, 2011 in Breckenridge. Graveside service with Paul Irby officiating will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the Clear Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6:00-7:00 P.M.. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

Dale was born on June 1, 1913 in Stephens County to parents Alec Neely Harbison and Emily Hughes Harbison. He attended Texas A&M University and Sul Ross State University and served his Country during WWII in the Navy. Mr. Harbison married Marsha Erickson on February 8, 1947 in Denton. He was a rancher and member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nece Miller and husband, Tommy of Tulia; sister, Jackie Harbison of Breckenridge; brother, Bob Harbison of Hurst; grandchildren, Brooke Miller of Amarillo, Emily Parker of Granite City, IL., and Nathan Moss of Houston; and a great grandchild, Henry Moss of Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marsha Harbison, and a daughter, Karen Harbison.
