Born Dec. 19, 1909, in Connoquenessing, he was the son of the late W. W. and Ethel Saylor Guiney. He moved to the New Kensington area in 1934, and began employment with Aluminum Company of America. He retired there Jan. 1, 1971.
Mr. Guiney was a member of the Alcoa 25-Year Club.
Surviving are his wife, Miriam Berkimer Guiney, to whom he was married for 44 years; a daughter, Mrs. A. A. (Mimi) Pastorek of New Kensington; two granddaughetrs; a brother, Joseph Guiney of New Kensington; and a sister, Mrs. George (Geraldine) Palhunik of Conneaut Lake.
