Barbara was the youngest of three daughters born to Charles and Mary Fraser Warden. Barbara married (1) to Oswald Arthur Keane who was killed in action at El Alamein on the 4th July 1942 and is buried at the El Alamein War Cemetery, Egypt (3) to James Marshall Stewart who was living Whangaparaoa, Albany, Auckland, New Zealand. One son survives Barbara - Charles Warden Stewart.
