Guy C. Christopher, 74, of Fulton, died Friday evening, September 7, 1984, at Callaway Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 24, 1910 in Callaway County, the son of Frank C. and Ora (Clingman) Christopher.
He was married January 21, 1928, in Jefferson Cith, Missouri, to Mabel Wilfley. She survives of the home.
Mr. Christopher is also survived by two sons, Clifford and Richard Christopher, both of Fulron, one brother, Bill Christopher of the state of Colorado and four sisters, Mrs. Vic (Bernice) Naughton and Mrs. James (Opal) Gilmore, both of Fulton, Mrs. Bob (Mary) Keeling of Mexico and Mrs. Erna Dean of Marshall, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, two sons and two brothers.
Mr. Christopher was a member of the Church of God Holiness. Fulton. He had worked at shoe factories and the Fulton State Hospital before his retirement in 1976.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, September 10, 1984 at the Church of God Holiness in Fulton with burial in Central Christian Church Cemetary west of Fulton. Reverend Milan G. Gourland and Reverend E.G. Garrett conducted thr funeral.
Arrangements were handled by the Browning-Debo Funeral Home.
