#Anne Danek, 72, 809 W. Fourth St., died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1988 in KSB Hospital after a short illness.
#She was employed by the Department of Transportation for 19 years, prior to her retirement.
#She was born April 6, 1915 in New York City, N.Y. to Myles and Elizabeth (McCartney) Griffin. She was married to Stanley A. Danek June 19, 1937 in New York City, N.Y. He preceded her in death Dec. 4, 1957.
#She was also preceded in death by one grandson [Daniel Danek] and two sisters.[Betty Boyer and Genevieve Bala]
#She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Legion of Mary, Dixon Catholic Woman's Club and was a Eucharistic Minister.
#Survivors include a daugher, Mrs. Robert (Bette) Hertz of Boulder, Colo.; sons, Stanley of Tallahassee, Fla., John of Rock Island, George of Orlando, Fla. and Charles and Thomas, both of Dixon; sisters, Mrs. Esther Dolan of Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Kathleen Connolly of Philadelphia, Pa.; 13 grandchildren.
