On Monday, July 9, 1951, at his residence, 1411 Taylor St. N.W., Arthur F. Burgess, beloved husband of Clara C. Burgess, father of Mrs. Nina A. Smithers, Mrs. Alice B. Huntt, Mrs. Elsie Blandford, and Forrest F Burgess. Brother of Cora B. Jenkins and Conrad V. Burgess. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren. Remains resting at the S.H Hines Co. Funeral Home, 2901 14th St. N.W. Services at Mt. Vernon Place Methodist Church, 9th and Mass. Ave. N.W. on Wednesday, July 11 at 2 p.m. Interment Rock Creek Cemetery.
