Anna M. Flesher, 87 years, of Fremont, NE, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at Arbor Manor in Fremont.
She was born August 22, 1923 at Nance County, NE to Henry and Malinda (Petersen) Klevemann. She grew up in Cedar Bluffs and graduated from Cedar Bluffs High School, 1940. After marriage she moved to Fremont where she attended beauty college in 1941 and worked as a beautician for 4 years. She also worked at Mode O' Day as a seamstress and later worked at Hipke Cleaners. She was a seamstress at Pendleton Woolen Mills for 20 years.
Anna married Donald F. Flesher June 14, 1942 at Fremont. He died July 27, 1993.
She was a former member of WIBC. She loved to fish, play bingo and keno. She enjoyed going to the casino and to the Fremont Friendship Center, where she also volunteered.
Survivors include her sons – Don and wife Darlyn Flesher and Brad Flesher and special friend, Kelley, all of Fremont, NE; daughters – RoxAnn and husband Gary Stolley of Fremont, NE and Amber and husband Joe Sieve of Cedar Bluffs, NE; brother Walter and wife Patsy Klevemann of Fremont, NE; sisters – Patricia Bertelsen of Fremont, NE, Bonnita Goracke and Linda and husband Jerry O'Banion all of Meadow Grove, NE; 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband – Donald, 1 son – Terry Flesher, and 4 brothers – Carl, Bob, John and Bill Klevemann.
Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Dan Heuer will officiate. There is no visitation. There will be a book signing Tuesday 9-5 at Moser Memorial Chapel, Fremont.
Private burial will be at Memorial Cemetery, Fremont.
