Myrtle Mae Cork, 73, a resident of the Centralia-Chehalis area for the past 14 years, died Thursday at a Chehalis hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1901, in Charleston, Va. Before moving to Chehalis, she had lived in Randle for most of her life.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Joe (June) Biven, Calpella, Calif., Emaline Day, Portland, and Mrs. Polly Goble, Randle; three sons, Jerry Hackney, Montesano; William Hackney, Port Angeles, and Bernard Hackney, Centralia; two sisters, Mrs. Dick (Ida) Martin, Auburn, and Mrs. John (Josephine) Martin, Oakville; three brothers, Ralph and Orvel Mullins, both of Randle, and Clarence Mullins, Springfield, Ore.; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at the Fissell Chapel of the Brown Mortuary Service. Interment will follow at the Claquato Cemetery.
