Linda Weavel, a resident of Henryetta, passed away on April 23, 2011, in Okmulgee, at the age of 63. Born March 12, 1948, in Stilwell, to AJ and Dorothy (Thomas) Alberty. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ab Alberty, nephew, Tim Alberty, and a niece, Tina Alberty. Weavel is survived by her husband Floyd Hathcoat of the home; two sons, Matt McMurtury of Tahlequah, and Andy McMurtury of Mustang; daughter Tamm Sauls and husband David of Morganton, N.C., and Anita McMurtury of Westville; 18 grandchildren; brother Marvin and wife Marilyn Alberty of Westville; two nephews, Jack Alberty of Bunch, and John Alberty of Fort Gibson; sister-in-law Joyce Alberty of Vian, niece, Mary Doyle of Colcord, and a host of friends. A graveside memorial service is tentatively scheduled for 11 a.m., Thursday, April 28, at the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Stilwell. Services are under the direction of the Rogers Funeral home.
