The patriarch of our family, Stanley Cook Webster, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Ogden, UT after a battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Stan was born July 14, 1937, in Ogden, UT, son of George Alma and Myrtle Cook Webster. He lived all his life in Kaysville. He graduated from Davis High School and married his high school sweetheart, Janet Barker, on October 12, 1956, in the Salt Lake Temple.
Stan was a loving, supportive, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He supported his children and grandchildren in scouts, sports, youth camps and conferences. He attended countless concerts, recitals, and ballgames. He enjoyed vacations and camping with his family. He loved going to the Playmill in West Yellowstone every summer.
Stan was an active member of the LDS Church. He loved the people of the Kaysville Eighth Ward, and served in many church leadership positions. He was a kind, compassionate, man of integrity.
Stan loved soccer. He coached and refereed competition teams for many years. He loved the young people and taught them much more than soccer skills by his great example.
Stan served in the Utah National Guard. He retired from Westinghouse Electric and Philips Lighting after thirty-five years of employment. He also worked for the LDS Church until 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, and children: Callene (Reed) Sorensen, Debra (Michael) Kusuda, David (Vanessa Hull) Webster all of Layton; grandchildren: Gregory and Liz Sorensen, Stephanie and Christopher Colton, Emily and Camille Sorensen, Jeffery and Candace Kusuda, Brian and Erika Kusuda, Kevin and Nathan Kusuda, Jonathan, Matthew, Anna, and Aliya Webster, great-grandchildren: Dahlia Colton, Kade, McKenna, and Caleb Kusuda, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robert and Glennis Barker. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Connie (Dale) Allen and Ann (James) Ta'a. Stan, we love you and will miss you. We look forward to being with you again.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street, and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Church.
Interment: Farmington City Cemetery.
