William James Collingwood, former resident of Ephrata for 2 years, died Sunday in the Grove City hospital aged 74 years, 6 months and 29 days. He was a son of the late James Finley and Matilda (Reese) Collingwood of Venango County. Prior to his retirement he operated an oil well for four years. There survive a son, Roy of Denver R2; a daughter, Maybelle, wife of John Shiles, Hyattsville, Md; four brothers, George of Cochranton R5; Lewis and Franklin, Kennerdell R2, and Robert of Youngstown Ohio; 12 grandchildren and ____ great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held today with services at 2 o’clock in the Eitneir and Hoffman funeral home and interment in Bowman’s cemetery with the Rev L.R. Walters officiating.
