John E Baltzley, 81, 54 E. Stevens St., died Wednesday evening at the Warner Hospital where he had been admitted last Friday.
He was a native of this county and resided most of his life in McKnightstown prior to moving to Gettysburg in recent years. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, McKnightstown.
Surviving are his wife, Delta (Albright) Baltzley, Gettysburg; three sons, Harold R Baltzley, Aspers R1; Kermit, Sanford, Maine; and John E Jr., Maryland; 2 daughters, Miss Marion Baltzley, 116 Carlisle., and Mrs. Leo Myers, Penn St., Hanover; two sisters, Mrs. Sherman Sites, Fairfield, and Mrs. Charles Ditzler, Biglerville; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 from the Peters Funeral Home, Carlisle St., with his pastor, the Rev. Edwin W Coddington, officiating. Interment will be in McKnightstown Cemetery.
