Oldest daughter of Bryan Smith & Lillian Burkett. Sisters Arlene & Verley. Brother, Vernon. Attended Northwestern Bible College in Minneapolis. Married Harry O. Nelson June 11, 1949. Four children were added to this union: Bruce-1950, Donald-1951, Betty-1954, Cheryl-1960. Mother and Presbyterian Pastor's wife all her married life. Died of breast cancer. Greatly missed.
