Mildred F. Toomer, a retired Exxon cashier and Avon representative, died Wednesday at a Forest Hill nursing home. She was 76.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Shannon TCU Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be in Tye Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Toomer was born in Paducah and had lived in Fort Worth since 1934. She was the widow of James Milford Toomer.

Survivors: Son, Leonard Toomer of Denton; three daughters, Glenda F. Hord and Mary Leuty, both of Fort Worth and Reta McVicker of Irving; brother, L.E. Willingham of Duncan, Okla.; two sisters, Lera Raper of Maysville, Okla., and Mamie Roberts of Paducah; 16 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
