Mr. and Mrs. Claude Baxendale, their son Gerald and wife of Lovell, Wyo., visited at the N. N. Brown home Saturday. They were en route to their homes. They had been called to Lincoln for the funeral services of Lawrence Baxendale. The services were held Saturday morning, with full military rites and burial in the Soldiers Circle at Wyuka Cemetery. The Baxendales are former Strang residents.

Lawrence W. Baxendale died in Lincoln Monday, November 13, 1967, at the age of 64. He is survived by a brother Claude of Lovell, Wyo., and a sister Mrs. Robert Cooper of Okla.

The Baxendale brothers were well known baseball players in their youth at Strang.
