Funeral services for Carl F. Erps, 73, 0f Mounted Route, Panorama Park, Bettendorf, who died Saturday in St. Luke's Hospital, will be held at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon in Runge Mortuary. Burial be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Erps was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. He came to the United States and Scott County at the age of one and half and had resided there since. He married Delpha Parrman in 1959.
He had been employed by the Scott County Road department 44 years, being a shop foreman when he retired in 1963. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Surviors are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Dale Wegener, Walcott. Iowa, Mrs. Wesley J. Schafer, Fairfield, Iowa, and Mrs. H. D. McRae, La Canada, California, a son, Arthur Strasser, Davenport, 13 grandchildren: three brothers, Peter of Eldridge, Henry of Davenport, George of Doland, S.D., and three sisters Mrs. Katy Danielson, Mrs. Margaret Schulz, and Mrs. Freda Voelkers, all of Davenport. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
