Donald E Chitwood, 54, Morgantown, died December 21 after attempting to free his truck which was stuck in snow on Carmel Ridge Road where he was visiting friends. Chitwood was born in Brown Co. Feb 13 1919 to R.C. and Ella McCoy Chitwood. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He is survived by a son, Donald of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Connie House, Morgantown; 2 brothers, Walter Joe Chitwood, R.3, Nashville and Allen Chitwood, R.2 Morgantown; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Rosa Ruggles, Unionville and Mrs. Glodene Lawson, R.3, Nashville.
