Plainview (special)-Services for Millie Elizabeth Perry Cate, 76 of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Parkview Baptist Chruch with the Rev. Charles Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. She died at 4:20 a.m. Sunday in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Nocona and moved to Lubbock in 1968. She married George Cate in 1933 in Lubbock. She was a member of Parkway Drive Baptist church. Survivors include her husband, five daughters, Thelma Dalton of Amarillo. Nancy Greer of Plainview and Vita Sherrill, Charlotte Nixon and Bessie Cate all of Lubbock; five sons, Billy and Joe, both of Lubbock and James Charles and Freddy, all of Plainview; four brothers, Bill Perry, Doc Perry, arnold Perry and Jim Perry all of Plainview; three sisters, Nette White of Whitesboro, Pearl Willhelm of plainview and Oda Collins of Snyder; 33 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
