Veta Dobbs, 74, of Edmond, died June 22, 1989, in Oklahoma City. She was born October 19, 1914 in Minco, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and lived in the Edmond area for 8 years. She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. Services will be 10am Saturday at the Baggerley-Primrose Memorial Chapel, burial at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, W.H. Dobbs of Edmond, Oklahoma; a son, Bill Dobbs of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Betty Bowman of Edmond; 2 sisters, Betty Jean Renegar of Norman, Oklahoma and Roberta Boston of Oklahoma City; 4 grandchildren, Brad and Becky Bowman, and Gregg and Shannon Dobbs. Memorials may be made to Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 3712 E. 2nd, Edmond, Oklahoma 73034.
