Helen Jane Lupton Snodgrass departed from this life Feb. 8, 2011.
She was a longtime resident of Shawnee. She was born in Mullens, W.V. Oct. 23, 1940, to Claude and Lema Wade. She married Joe Snodgrass March 13, 2004.
She was a member of the Faith Community Church of God, and a perpetual member of the Eastern Star. She retired from Pratts Food after many years of service in the administrative and management departments.
She was survived by her husband Joe Snodgrass; one son, Danny Lupton and wife, Teresa; one daughter, Gina Keith and husband, Wayne; step-children, Patricia and Tutai Pere, Scottie and Zeela Snodgrass, Kelly and Paige Snodgrass, Mark Snodgrass, John and Lori Snodgrass, Tisha and Tim Summerville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Jack, Dewey, and Rodger Wade; sisters, Shirley Snodgrass and Dorothy Blakenship; step-daughter, Alana Blystone; and great-grandchild, Carson Tenpenny.
Her service will be at 3 p.m., today, Feb. 16, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
