Marjorie Ann Troutt, 78, Woodlawn, passed away at 1:38 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at Mt. Vernon Health Care Center.

She was born in Sandoval on Saturday, May 3, 1930, a daughter of Paul and Eleanor (Ferguson) Maddox. She married Glen G. "Blue" Troutt on Jan. 16, 1953, in Woodlawn.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Woodlawn with the Revs. Bill Raby and Derek Downs officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Odd Fellows Cemetery in Woodlawn.

Evening visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Afternoon visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Glen G. "Blue" Troutt of Woodlawn; son, Alan Troutt of Woodlawn; two daughters, Glenda Raby and husband Bill of Benton and Marla Ainscough and husband Steve of Vandalia; seven grandchildren, Joseph and Angela Raby of Lexington, Ky., Jeremy Raby of Collinsville, Justin Raby of Benton, Jonathan Raby of Benton, Erin Ainscough of Pontoon Beach, Paul Ainscough of St. Charles, Mo., and Jessica Troutt of Nashville, Ill.; sister, Mary Lou Stegall of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Marjorie was a teller at Woodlawn Bank for 20 years, was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, was past director of the Women's Missionary Union and was an active member of the Rainbow Circle.

For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Hospice of the Good Samaritan and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864.
