John Patterson died last Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. C. Hurst, at Hutsonville, from a stroke of apoplexy, aged almost 95 years. For many years he was one of the most prominent residents of Old York, and engaged in many important business enterprises. For some years he had made his home with his daughter.
He is survived by two other children, Mrs. W. E. Steele, of Terre Haute, and G. W. Patterson of Chicago. Funeral services were held at Hutsonville Sunday.
