David H. Nott
Rock City, Illinois, Jan. 14--David H. Nott, 69, passed away Tuesday morning at a Freeport hospital.
He was born in Dakota township, April 2, 1878, son of Hermann and Wilhelmina Nott. He was married in 1903, to Lydia Thoren, who preceded him in death in 1919. In 1922 he was married to Della Tielkemeier, who survives.
Two daughters by the first marriage also survive, Mrs. Hulda Myers, Rock City, and Louella McCauley, Dakota; a brother, John Nott, Rock City, and five grandchildren. A daughter and three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hoffmeister funeral home and at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Epplyanna church, Rev. R.E. Schwarze, pastor officiating, and burial will be in the Epplyanna cemetery.
